It is with deep gratitude and conviction that I welcome you to the Interfaith Dialogue Coalition (IDC). This initiative is born from a simple but powerful belief: the greatest challenges facing humanity today cannot be solved in isolation. Poverty, lack of education, mental health crises, family disintegration, and spiritual emptiness know no denominational boundaries — and neither should our response.

Esta iniciativa nace de una creencia simple pero poderosa: los mayores desafíos que enfrenta la humanidad hoy no pueden resolverse en aislamiento. La pobreza, la falta de educación, las crisis de salud mental, la desintegración familiar y el vacío espiritual no conocen fronteras denominacionales — y tampoco debería hacerlo nuestra respuesta.
I want to be clear about what IDC is, and what it is not. We do not seek to unify churches. We do not ask anyone to abandon their confession of faith, their traditions, or their convictions. Each organization that joins this coalition is fully respected in its beliefs, its autonomy, and its identity. What we seek is something far more practical and urgent: the ability to sit at the same table and dialogue in search of solutions to the problems that affect us all as human beings.
Quiero ser claro sobre lo que es IDC y lo que no es. No buscamos unificar iglesias. No pedimos a nadie que abandone su confesión de fe, sus tradiciones o sus convicciones. Cada organización que se une a esta coalición es plenamente respetada en sus creencias, su autonomía y su identidad. We believe in seeking alliances with institutions of academic excellence. IDC actively pursues partnerships with universities, seminaries, and educational institutions that hold formal national accreditation in their respective countries.

At the same time, we hold firmly to a posture of respect. We will always respect those who think differently from us. We can have conversations with anyone, because true dialogue requires the courage to listen as much as to speak.
